I have an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (“ADVO”) can I still mediate?
Typically, you can mediate if you have a lawyer present and it is safe to do so. Some situations where AVOs exist are not suitable due to the nature of the violence or the coercive controlling behaviours. Please let us know if you have an AVO and we can advise you at the time of meeting with you.
