Comino’s Chief Happiness Officer and Therapy Dog

Our therapy dog Honey the Moodle has been part of our family law practice since 2015 and since that time she has been offering a comforting paw to people going through divorce or separation.

Often people experiencing a life-changing event such as a separation or divorce, feel confused, stressed and vulnerable and having to find your way to a family lawyer is daunting and unsettling for most people.

Dogs and Reducing Stress

Research shows that having a dog to pat or talk to can reduces stress and anxiety significantly. We certainly have found that with our Honey the Moodle who loves to greet all our clients with enthusiasm and a happy wagging tail.

Our clients often tell us that simply having Honey around has made them feel secure and at ease. They can relax and focus on what needs to be done in their divorce matter.

It seems that not only has our family law practice discovered the therapeutic value of having Honey meet and greet our clients and offer a comforting paw.
